Batch by Creemore

How do you bring the flavours and feelings of a small town to the big city?

That was the challenge we were facing when Creemore Springs asked me and my team at Jackman to launch a new restaurant.

We started by diving into the Creemore brand. What were they known for? What did they do better than anyone else? What were their values? Personality?

We then imagined what the Creemore character might look like if it moved to the city. We distilled the brand heart to “local love”. In everything we’d do along the 360 customer experience, we’d evoke a feeling of “local love”.

We introduced a market where visitors could buy small-town treats and beer to enjoy on a picnic (complete with a map of local picnic stops).

We added a games room to make the upscale food and craft beer offering more approachable and fun.

We considered textures, lighting, and layouts that created a welcoming vibe.

Everything about Batch by Creemore - from brand design to offerings - says “local love”. Toronto locals felt right at home.
